School Health Services

The school health act provides for school health services for all students, grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. These services are designated to assure optimal physical functioning, and improve the physical condition of school age children.

The school health service provides emergency care for illness or injury occurring in school or while the student is under jurisdiction of the school. Treatment of injuries occurring at home is not the responsibility of the school. If you need information regarding health care services in the community, contact the health office for information.

Together school and home can work to provide an environment in which children can learn.
