Graduation Project Ineligibility
The Graduation Project is a required one-credit course for graduation at Greenwood. The grade is calculated on a point basis and counts toward ineligibility. Due dates are NOT extended due to absences. Meeting the deadlines make up the majority of the grade for the graduation project.
All assignments must be perfect (no mistakes) before receiving the points. There will be no honors for the project if any of the assignments are handed in late.
Juniors who fail to complete the cover letter, résumé, references, and interview process will repeat the whole graduation project the following year.
Seniors who have not completed the graduation project will not graduate.
To receive honors for the project, all deadlines must be met, four out of the six graded components must receive an honors grade, and a portfolio must be used at the interview. Point values are 100% for Honors, 94% for Pass, 64% for Fail, and 50% for incomplete.
ALL ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE PRINTED AND PLACED IN THE BASKET IN B-10 BY 3 P.M.ON OR BEFORE DUE DATE.
Submitting to Schoology may ONLY be done if you are absent on the due date.
DUE DATES ARE NOT EXTENDED FOR ABSENCES.
